Pep & Ginge is a new candle company in Maidstone, Kent — rooted in warmth, balance, and timeless design. The brief was to create a visual identity inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics, bold yet minimal, with soft, organic forms.

Inspired by mid-century modern design, the approach focused on reducing ginger and pepper to their most essential shapes — soft, curved forms and simple geometric elements. These were carefully composed to create a mark that behaves like a traditional monogram, with balance, rhythm, and cohesion.
